College Magazine Analyse

This magazine presents college in a positive way as the main image shows a happy student who is equipped with books ready to learn. The cover lines are also appealing to the target audience of students as a range of images is used that will interest more teenagers. As well as this, it focuses more on the interests of teenagers such as technology, love and food. The masthead being at the top really helps to gain attention and as it takes up about a quarter of the page, it stands out the most. Simple fonts and colors have been used and there is not much of a range. Roughly 4 fonts have been used on this magazine. I think this has been done so that the titles of the cover lines all stand out individually. More colors have been used on the main image to make it more appealing. The cover lines are placed in an interesting way, to the left of the magazine therefore are likely to be read as people read from left to right. This magazine includes a web address so it can be accessed online which would appeal to the target audience of students once again.
